General Lung Disease

A group of specialists provide weekday clinics for patients with GP referrals for lung disease. Please allow 1-2 hours for your first visit – where you will usually have a chest x-ray which will be reported on by the doctor you see. Most patients will also have breathing and blood tests. Some more complicated breathing tests may require a second visit.

If you use inhalers one of the clinic nurses will see how well you are able to use it – and will advise if a different type is likely to suit you better.

You will also be asked to bring a urine specimen, please give this to your clinic nurse for testing.

Appointments are organised by team clerks, please call the number below for an appointment with a particular specialist.
