The Trust has over 700 volunteers working across our hospitals in a variety of roles and departments. We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated people to join our fantastic volunteer teams and recognise the immense value these teams bring, and the many ways in which they benefit our patients. However, if you are looking for work experience to support a university application or as part of your college or university course, you should contact the Work Experience department using their link.

Within the Volunteer Service itself there are many different roles and groups. We ensure that the skills and strengths of our volunteers are utilised in the best possible way and we will endeavour to find the role which suits you.

So if you’re over 18 and looking for a new way of meeting people, giving something back, and want to join a friendly, committed team – then contact us by phoning 0121 424 5640 or email
