Conference to question – what’s next for Advanced Clinical Practice in Emergency Medicine?

Heart of England is delivering an Advanced Clinical Practitioners (ACPs) conference called: Advanced Clinical Practice in Emergency Medicine – what next?

This conference is to be held on Friday 6 October 2017 from 9am-5pm (registration at 8.30am) at Birmingham City Football Club Ground and is for all ACPs, staff nurses, sisters, consultants, doctors in emergency medicine and anyone who has an interest in the ACP role. It will cover the following topics:

• ACP credentialing – Dr Ellen Jones (ED Consultant, HEE & RCEM member of ACP pilot working group)
• ACP experience of credentialing – Martin Horton (First ACP to credential in adults and paediatrics)
• Social media and publishing
• Front door elderly care
• ED paediatric scenarios
