• How much money have overseas visitors managers (OVMs) at the Trust recouped from overseas visitors in the financial years 2017-18 and 2018-19?

2017/18: £382,000

2018/19: £502,000

NB: These amounts are all monies recovered for charges made to overseas visitors, i.e. it is possible that some payments may have come from insurance companies or family members / friends that are not overseas visitors. The amounts do not include private patient income.

• How much was invoiced to overseas visitors in the financial years 2017-18 and 2018-19?

2017/18: £1,967,000

2018/19: £1,898,000

NB: These amounts are the net of invoices and credit notes raised within year. It is possible, for example, that a credit note raised in FY 2018/19 could relate to an invoice from FY 2017/18 and so on.

• I would also like to know how much the administration or OVM team has cost the Trust in the financial years 2017-18 and 2018-19.

Approximately £144,000. Please note the Trust does not hold the exact amount, and to ascertain it would require detailed analysis of each team member’s role.
