FOI 0228 2019/20: Specialist Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team

I would like to make a freedom of Information (FOI) request to provide an answer to the following question relating to the to the most recent (please provide date) Specialist Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (SSMDT) held in your respective NHS trust in the form of an electronic reply to each item:

  1. Venue – Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Thursday mornings
  2. Medical staff present based on attendance records (including consultant surgeons, consultant medical oncologists, consultant clinical oncologists, consultant radiologists, consultant histopathologists, junior doctors [Specialist Registrars and Foundation Doctors] clinical nurse specialists and SSMDT coordinator) – Consultant Dermatologist x4, Clinical Nurse Specialist x3, Consultant Radiologist x2, MDT Co-ordinator x1, Consultant Plastic Surgeon x1, Consultant Medical Oncologist x1, Clinical Oncologist x1, Consultant Histopathologist x1, ENT Head and Neck Surgeon x1
  3. Hourly salary details of all participants – We do not hold this information
  4. Time spent by each team member in preparing for the SSMDT meeting – Variable by member
  5. Time spent by team coordinator disseminating SSMDT outcome – Half a day
  6. Running time in minutes of the SSMDT – From 08.45 to 10.30
  7. Number of new cases discussed – 20
  8. Number of re-discussions discussed – 41
  9. Did any patients attend the meeting? – No, never
