  1. May I ask if your Carestream Health PACS system is live yet? If so
  • when was it pushed live and
  • when is the contract expiration?

 

The Carestream PACS went live for the first of our four hospital sites on 7/7/2019. The Go-live at Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals is currently planned for May 2020.

The contract will run for an initial 5 year term from the date at which the service is live at all sites. Therefore this is currently expected to be in May 2025 however it is subject to the successful go-live at Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull Hospitals.

2. Also, has the Agfa Impax PACS system been decommissioned yet? If not, when will the contract be ending?

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Agfa IMPAX contract has ended. The Workstations have been decommissioned and the server decommissioning will be being arranged shortly.

The Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull Hospital Agfa contract has been extended until 31st June 2020.
