1)    How many employees does your organisation currently have?

Approximately 11,000

2)    Who supplies your multifunctional devices (main printer fleet)?

The Danwood Group Ltd currently provides the trust a Managed Print Service (MPS) and as part of this agreement they provide multifunctional devices.

3)    How many devices do they supply?

Since The Danwood Group Ltd became the MPS provider of the Trust they  are responsible for all of the Trust’s devices.   This is a constantly moving  fleet which is made up of the following devices, including :

·      OKI ES4131 – Quantity 555

·      OKI ES5430 – Quantity 96

·      OKI ES2632 – Quantity 38

·      Samsung SCX5737 – Quantity 36

·      Samsung ML2510 – Quantity 9

·      Samsung ML2855 – Quantity 27

·      Samsung ML3310nd/ML4510nd/ML4551nr/ML5510nd – Quantity 171

·      Samsung SCX6322nd – Quantity 21

·      Sharp MXM363 – Quantity 19

·      Sharp DXC381/MXC381- Quantity 23

·      Sharp MX4112/MX4100n/MX5000 – Quantity 8

·      Xerox Colorqube 8570adn – Quantity 19

 

 

In addition there are a small number of other devices Dell, HP, Lexmark, Kyocera, Canon, Xerox, Ricoh, Konica, which are mostly legacy devices but they are all being managed by Danwood.

4)    What BRAND device/s do they supply (Canon, Ricoh, Xerox, Kyocera, Dell, Samsung, HP, Epson, Toshiba, Konica Minolta, ect)?

5)    Do they also supply print management software?

The Danwood Group Ltd deploys Intelleprint® software across the trust. For some network devices The Danwood Group Ltd implements SafeCom software.

6)    Do they also supply any additional scanning software?

Yes they supply software that enables the MFDs to scan to e-mail and to drives for office based work.   They do not supply the scanning software for the volume scanning work such as medical records or invoices..

7)    When does the contract for your print fleet expire?

This MPS contract ends 31 December 2014..

8)    What PDF solutions do you pay for (not free readers like Adobe)?

Our last answer indicated we spend £1,000.00 per annum but did not define what packages.

9)    What Document Management/Document Repository/s do you use within the organisation?

Documentum for Scanned Medical Records.

10)What EPR/HER (electronic patient/health record system) do you have in place or are putting in place?

PMS2 has recently been implemented.

11)Who is the contact within the organisation responsible for the print fleet?

The Danwood team are responsible for the print fleet.   The trust Chief Financial Controller is the project manager for the MPS and the Finance Director is the signatory to the contract.
