We are unable to supply a response to this question as this would involve undertaking a search of each unit per week and would take an extensive amount of time which would exceed the 18 hours staff time limit as set down in section 12 of the FOI Act.
6. Total number of nursing shifts filled by nursing agency staff (excluding bank staff and inclusive of all roles and grades for registered nurses only, bands 5 to 9) for the months April, May and June 2014.

We are unable to provide this information as our current systems establish a shift as filled by a worker and does not count the number of shifts a particular worker carries out.
9. What was the highest rate paid from 1st to 30th June 2014 for the following:
- Band 5 level nursing agency nurse
- Band 6 level nursing agency nurse
- Band 7 level nursing agency nurse
- Band 8 level nursing agency nurse

However, the rates of the most expensive agency used are: Band 5 or 6 nurses is £62.45 per hour the maximum shift time they would be paid for is 12 hours = £749.40 per shift and the Band 7 and 8 rate is £82.45 x 12 hrs = £989.40 per shift
