Please note, you asked for data  concerning ‘IT technologies and IT services’ . This is quite a broad description, with exact definitions open to interpretation. The Trust uses standard NHS ‘eclass’ categorisation of expenditure.  While the classification of spend on a line-by-line basis may not be entirely consistent, we have tried to be broad in the gathering of this data according to the eclass codes related to the request.

The eclass categories analysed are WA (computer hardware and software) ; WB (printer consumables) ; WC (office equipment); WF (telecommunications); and ZMD (management consultancy – IT).
