‘Everybody Counts… Or Nobody Counts’ conference

A free safeguarding conference for NHS staff, organised by the Trust’s Adult Safeguarding team, is being held this month across all three hospitals.

The ‘Everybody Counts…Or Nobody Counts’ conference will focus on a range of issues including human trafficking and modern slavery, effects of domestic abuse on children, learning difficulties, equality and diversity, FGM (female genital mutilation) and many more.

It’s taking place at Good Hope on 11 November 9am – 5pm, Solihull Hospital on 16 November 8am – 2pm and at Heartlands Hospital on 25 November 9am-5pm.

Representatives from Age UK, Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid as well as Birmingham LGBT will also be present at the conference.
