2015: 38
2016: 52
2017: 40
2. The total cost to the Trust of keeping patients on life support each year in 2015, 2016 and 2017?
Please note: Total spell costs will include the costs of any associated high cost procedures e.g. Transplantation surgery, drugs and devices, hence will vary significantly from individual to individual patient and year to year and should not be used for extrapolating. It is not possible to isolate the costs only associated with life support.
