FOI 0371 – Dress Code Policy

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) completed a merger by acquisition of Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (HEFT) on 1st April 2018.   UHB includes Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Solihull Hospital and Community Services, Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham Chest Clinic.

Due to historical differences in data collection/reporting across UHB and the former Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust some responses have been provided by hospital site.

To whom it may concern,

I am currently conducting research on the healthcare dress code policy in 2000. I would be very grateful if you could provide me with the hospital’s dress code policy for 2000 (via email). I would also kindly request your most recent dress code policy for staff in 2016-17, in addition to the 2000 policy.

1. I would be very grateful if you could provide me with the hospital’s dress code policy for 2000 (via email).

We do not hold a copy of the Policy in force in 2000.

2. I would also kindly request your most recent dress code policy for staff in 2016-17, in addition to the 2000 policy.

Following the merger of the 2 Trusts please note we are in a process of aligning and bringing together policies so in some areas we are working to different policies.

Please find attached two uniform and dress code policies:
