University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) completed a merger by acquisition of Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (HEFT) on 1st April 2018.   UHB includes Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Solihull Hospital and Community Services, Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham Chest Clinic.

Due to historical differences in data collection/reporting across UHB and the former Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust some responses have been provided by hospital site.

 

Queen Elizabeth Hospital

Under the provision of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 please can you answer the following questions relating to the rota/rostering system(s) you currently use:

2. Description of their uses (including the staffing groups or departments they are used for)

Allocate is used for its time and attendance functionality for clerical staff and E-rostering functionality for nursing staff to start with, e-rostering will be rolled out to other “rostered” departments over the next year. Allocate’s Bank module is also used.

3. Who signed the contract (job title)
