Freedom of Information Request: 0420 2019/20

I am contacting you to inquire about the use of the Windows 7 operating system within NHS Trusts due to Microsoft’s planned end of support for the OS.

I have a couple of questions that I would appreciate a response to:

 1.How many computers within University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust are currently running the Windows 7 operating system?

 2.Will all of these computers be updated with a newer operating system before Microsoft ends support of Windows 7 in January 2020?

There is a project in place for migrating to Windows 10 however this will probably extend past the end of January 2020.
