University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) completed a merger by acquisition of Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (HEFT) on 1st April 2018. UHB includes Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Solihull Hospital and Community Services, Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham Chest Clinic.
For the purposes of this request we have answered on behalf of the whole Trust.

6. What is your current pathway for knee osteoarthritis patients?
The Osteoarthritis Knee pathway that we adhere to follows the one that was agreed collaboratively between the acute and community teams under the direction of Solihull C.C.G. before the merger. This was agreed with representation from secondary care Trauma and Orthopaedics Consultants and our acute and community musculoskeletal teams.
7. Do you have a community MSK service, if yes who is that contracted to?
A community services musculoskeletal contract is part of the H.G.S. Therapy Directorate portfolio and is commissioned by Birmingam and Solihull C.C.G. with a service specification that includes routine musculoskeletal services and Spinal Triage.
