For the period 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2018 (or the most recent 12 month period available), the number of patients diagnosed with genetic haemochromatosis under your care.

Please note that this relates to inpatients admitted with genetic haemochromatosis, and we cannot confirm that these patients were all treated for genetic haemochromatosis

QE – 126 patients discharged from the QE in the 2018 calendar year who had a diagnosis of Haemochromatosis coded against their inpatient spell. This covers all types of Haemochromatosis and includes hereditary

HGS – There have been 306 patients that have had an inpatient stay in the trust who have a diagnosis of genetic hemochromatosis. This covers the period 01/01/2018 – 31/12/2018 based on discharge date.

For the period 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2018 (or the most recent 12 month period available), the average time in days from first referral from primary care to the patient’s first appointment within your trust.

We do not hold this information for patients with genetic haemochromatosis in an accessible format
