I have been doing some research and require more information and I was wondering if you could provide further information under the Freedom of Information Act:

Please could you provide all recorded figures for the following questions:

  • How many sharps containers were disposed of annually for your NHS Hospital Trust within the last 10 years? The Trust does not hold this information – we hold information on the number of procured Sharps containers, not how many were disposed of.

 

  • What is the annual recorded cost for sharps container disposal for your NHS Hospital Trust within the last 10 years? We do not hold this information accurately – we cannot isolate this cost from other waste related costs
