1.    How many operating theatres do you have per hospital?

Birmingham Heartlands Hospital: 14 (including 3 obstetric theatres)

Good Hope Hospital: 10 (including 2 obstetric theatres)

Solihull Hospital: 7

 

2.    How many intensive care units do you have per hospital for each of the following?

a.    Neonatals: one as part of the neonatal unit at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital

b.    Pediatrics: we do not have paediatric intensive care units, although we do have a High Dependency Unit (HDU) at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital

c.    Adults: we have one intensive care unit at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and one at Good Hope Hospital. We have HDUs on all three sites.
