1. How long is the waiting time in weeks for a routine MRI scan at each of your trusts hospital sites? Is this within your trust targets?

There is a 5-6 week wait for routine MRI scans.

The target is 6 weeks and we are currently meeting that target across our 3 hospital sites.

 

2. Do you hire in any private mobile MRI scanners in order to scan NHS patients? Or do you out source any NHS patients requiring MRI scans to any private clinics/centres?

Some NHS patients requiring MRI scans have been scanned by Alliance Medical (hire of a mobile MRI) and  some patients are scanned at Spire medical (private hospital).
