FOI 4989 Rhapsody Integration Engine

Please provide us with information to the following questions regarding the Integration Engine/Platform in use at the Trust.

 

1) Can you confirm that your Trust uses the Rhapsody Integration Engine for integrating the Trust source systems? e.g. For integration and sharing of information between clinical systems EG: PAS ADT / Demographic messages to Radiology System / LIMS within the Hospital. – Yes

 

2) Please provide an email address for the main IT point of contact that is in charge of overseeing and managing the Integration and Interfacing team(s)? – David.hextell@heartofengland.nhs.uk

 

3) How many Rhapsody Integration Engine licenses do you hold, if more than the one? – Please confirm the type and how many licenses you hold for your integration engine. – 2, All enterprise unlimited computer points

 

4) How much do you currently pay for your annual 24/7 Rhapsody TIE environment support of the licence? This question does not refer to the product support, please provide a cost breakdown for each licence where more than one is in use.  -£11,247.50

 

5) Do you pay for support and maintenance of your integration engine as separate items. –No

 

6) When will the annual 24/7 support contract be renewed next? June 2017

 

7) What is the procurement route for the above support should they be external to the Trust e.g via tender? – Tender
