1) What are the Hospital names and locations that form part of the Trust? (Please provide details)

Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, Bordesley Green East, Birmingham B9 5SS.

Good Hope Hospital, Rectory Rd, Sutton Coldfield B75 7RR.

Solihull Hospital, Lode Lane, Solihull,  B91 2JL

 

2) Which framework is utilized for purchasing such as SBS or the NHS Supply Chain or direct with manufacture? NHS Supply Chain Framework

 

3) By which method is this procured? The mattresses are on a lease agreement

 

4) What is the name of the manufacture used to provide pressure relief alternating surface air mattresses to the trust?

5) Is this a managed service? Yes or No – Yes

 

6) Is the provision contracted? Yes or No – Yes

 

The following questions are only applicable if the supply of alternating air surface mattresses to the hospital trust is contracted.

 

7) How long is the current contract? We have two contracts – One for Good Hope & Solihull Hospitals due to expire January 2018 & one for Heartlands Hospital due to expire November 2019

 

8) When does the current contract expire? See above

 

9) What is the total number of hospital beds on-site? 1,530

 

10) How many of these hospital beds are occupied by air alternating surface? It is dependent on patient requirement, but could be up to 500
