  1. How much did your Trust pay for the services of translators for patients in each of the last three financial years? (i) 2013/14, (II) 2014/15 and (iii) 2015/16?

  1. If possible please state what the most expensive hourly rate was, which language it was for and how many hours were purchased at this rate?

The Trust uses in house interpreters/ translators and an external company – Language Line Solutions.

There is no hourly rate for in house services.

The hourly rate for Language Line Solutions for all languages (with the exception of British Sign Language ) is £ 28.00 per hour. The hourly rate for British Sign Language hourly rate is £45.00 per hour.
