i)                    Who provides security at each of your hospital sites? Where security is supplied by multiple providers please breakdown this provision. G4S Secure Solutions are contracted to provide security at our three hospital sites, and we only use this contractor.

ii)                  How many complaints have been made to the trust in regards to hospital security guards in 2016?  The Trust has received one complaint.

iii)                 For each complaint, please give a short description of the details (where available) and identify which security provider the security officer was employed by.  The complaint related to car parking, the security officer was employed by G4S.

iv)                 The number of times security guards have been used to restrain patients from January 2016 to the latest available figures? And the departments where the restraint took place?  11 occasions from Jan 16 to date. Inpatient wards and Emergency Departments.

v)                   Does the trust use security personnel to restrain patients with mental health problems or patients with dementia? Security staff respond to any incident where it is felt there is a risk to both staff, patient and public safety and use reasonable and proportionate force if required.
