  • Do you currently have a clinical benchmarking system and who is the supplier (or suppliers if more than one contract in place)? This information within these systems are used to provide a wide range of information to the Trust, including the Hospital Standardised Mortality Ratio (HSMR) and Summary Hospital-level Mortality Indicator (SHMI) which is reported in your board papers.

 

The Clinical Benchmarking system we currently have in place is the HED tool. The tool is supplied by the HED team at University Hospitals Birmingham.

 

  • What date does this contract expire? Is there an option to extend the term of the contract?

The current licence expires on 24th April 2017.
