Could you advise how many attempted Cyber-attacks have been directed at your trust in 2016 and 2017 to date?

The Trust, like many organisations, will be subject to Ransomware and other cyber-attacks attacks on a daily basis however the majority of these attacks are detected and prevented by firewalls and AV solutions. We do not keep a log of attempted but unsuccessful attacks. We do however, keep a log of virus infections, see response to FOI 5252 for further details.
