The expenditure for these areas is split across a number of different departments across the organisation. The ICT department itself had a total cost of a little under £7.0m during 2016/17 including both pay and non-pay costs. It is very difficult to provide any further information about the costs of Analytics as it is too embedded within other departments.

The proportion of the Trust’s tenders relating to these items is now minimal as the strategic direction is to minimise cost to the organisation wherever possible. A recent review suggests less than 0.4% of the Trusts annual expenditure relates to tenders associated with this type of expenditure.
