1. The name of the incumbent clinical and hazardous waste collector/disposer.  When their contract began and when it will be out to tender again.

SRCL 1st June 2015 ends May 2019

2. The number of tonnes per week or month of each category.  

HT – infectious h/care for alternative treatment. Annual 825.08 tonnes.

HL – non-hazardous h/care waste Annual. 446.60 tonnes.

HS – infectious h/care sharps for incineration. Annual 193.85 tonnes.

HI – infectious h/care waste for incineration. Annual 70.01 tonnes.

HY – hazardous h/care medicines for incineration. Annual 18.63 tonnes.

HA – infectious h/care anatomical for incineration. Annual 10.52 tonnes.

HP – non-hazardous h/care medicines for incineration. Annual 10.11 tonnes.

HN – non-medicinal sharps for alternative treatment. Annual 6.67 tonnes.

3. The price per tonne paid for each category

Alternative Treatment £295 per tonne.

Incineration £470 per tonne.

Non-hazardous for landfill £205 per tonne.
