FOI 5868 Junior Doctor Monitoring

For the calendar years 2012 and 2013 and in relation to all Doctors in Training (save for on call rotas). Please provide/confirm:
1. A copy of the relevant shift rotas. The Trust does hold this information however we estimate that compliance with your request would exceed the appropriate costs limit under section 12 of the Freedom of information Act 2000. This is currently £450. The appropriate limit would be exceeded if it would require more than 18 hours work. In order to provide the information we would need to obtain the shift rotas from each ward/department, this would exceed 18 hours.
2. A copy of any reports (including the raw data, narratives and results) of any monitoring rounds conducted relating to the relevant rotas over the relevant period. Attachment 1
3. The outcome (i.e. the banding) of the relevant monitoring rounds for each rota. Attachment 1
4. Whether there have been any banding appeals for the respective rota/monitoring rounds and if so, the outcome(s). None
5. A copy of any policies applied in relation to monitoring. We do not hold a doctors in training monitoring policy
6. A copy of any other material on monitoring sent to doctors participating in monitoring exercises either at commencement of contract or prior to monitoring exercises. See attachment 2 copy of contract and offer letter dated 2013
The information can and should be redacted to remove reference to names of the doctors on the rota participating in the monitoring rounds.
