Ward 11 at Good Hope Hospital didn’t think of themselves as champions of the mental capacity act. But they have been recognised during a visit by Birmingham South Central Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) for their good practice. This work embodies the principles of the act in really concrete and tangible ways. Why not have a look to see whether your service is also championing the mental capacity act without even knowing it: http://bhamsouthcentralccg.nhs.uk/2012-02-13-08-29-02/news/1088-good-hope-hospital
