The upcoming members’ health seminar at Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust will be dedicated to discussing urgent care services at Solihull Hospital.
Taking place in the lecture theatre in the Hospital’s Education Centre at 5pm on Thursday 13 March, the seminar will be led by Matthew Cooke, associate medical director and head of clinical systems design at the Trust.
With the consultation period around what urgent care services are offered and delivered at the Hospital running until the beginning of April, the seminar will offer the opportunity to outline the current challenges and advise on the proposed solutions.
Matthew Cooke said: “A review of urgent care at Solihull Hospital is currently being undertaken by the Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group. We are meeting with patients and public groups, and feedback so far has been very positive to bringing all our existing services together to form a single urgent care centre. We believe this will deliver safer and more convenient care for patients.
“Attendees to the next health seminar will have the opportunity to ask any questions about urgent care services and find out more about next steps.”
