Charitable art lovers are invited to head to the charity sale at Heartlands Hospital for a range of arts and festive homemade crafts.

Purchase a bargain or perfect present among the original art paintings created by local artists, or stock up on Christmas decorations and cards at the sale. Proceeds will go towards art and music supplies and events for the hospital’s wards.

Sarah McGrory, arts manager at Heartlands Hospital, said: “Throughout the year, the arts team has hosted a number of art and music workshops that have benefited elderly and young patients on our dementia and children’s wards. These activities have given patients a positive distraction whilst in hospital and also an opportunity for them to participate in workshops.

“Through the money raised at the sale, we can continue to provide arts and music workshops for patients.  There will be plenty of festive items on sale and the arts team are looking forward to hosting the Christmas arts sale.”
