This is the branch of medicine that deals with the care of infants and children and the treatment of their diseases. The Trust offers a comprehensive outpatient facilities at both sites and intensive care, high dependency and special care facilities within the neonatal unit at Heartlands.

There are transitional care facilities on both sites and specialist services such as diabetes and respiratory including cystic fibrosis and infectious diseases along with neuromuscular diseases.
