We’re proud to provide the latest statistics and data about our performance as a Trust, and as individual hospitals.
Patient Friends and Family Test
The Trust has had the most successful month yet in terms of numbers of patients who have responded to say whether they would recommend the service they have received to their friends or family.
This follows the introduction of a quick and easy text-back service in all Accident & Emergency Departments (A&E). Anyone now who attends either Heartlands Hospital, Good Hope Hospital or Solihull Hospital A&E Departments for treatment will now receive a text after their visit asking them to ‘rate’ their experience. This text-back service is now also being introduced into all ward areas later this summer and a trial is also due to commence in maternity so patients can give feedback by texts here too.
Staff Friends & Family test
Following its introduction in April 2014, we ran our first Staff Friends & Family test in May – June this year, providing all staff the opportunity to give their views on the quality of care we are delivering and what it’s like to work at Heart of England FT. The results of our quarter 1 survey are below, with the feedback being used to inform future improvements.
How likely are you to recommend Heart of England as a place to receive care or treatment?
• Positive scores 58% (Extremely Likely & Likely)
• Negative scores 20% (Extremely Unlikely & Unlikely)
How likely are you to recommend Heart of England as a place to work?
• Positive scores 46% (Extremely Likely & Likely)
• Negative scores 33% (Extremely Unlikely & Unlikely)
