Looking for a fresh start? Want to get involved in something fun and at the same time make a real difference? Good Hope Hospital is on the search for fundraising volunteers!
The Hospital is looking to local people to join the Good Hope League of Friends (LOF) to help with everything from bucket collections, managing bric-a-brac stalls to fundraising events.
Elaine Coulthard from the Friends, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for local people. We want to raise money for those little extras at the Hospital that make a big difference. It could be anything from new chairs or artwork in a waiting area to a piece of machinery. Everything we do is for the sole benefit of patients at the Hospital.”
“Volunteering with the Friends is a really rewarding thing to do. You will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of things, have a lot of fun and meet new people. We’re looking for enthusiastic people with great ideas and a big heart for making a difference.”
This opportunity at Good Hope is open to anyone aged 18 upwards. If you are interested in finding out more about the Friends, contact Elaine Coulthard on wavenham@hotmail.co.uk.
