Locals are invited to attend a free health seminar at Good Hope Hospital with a focus on hip and knee problems. More than 70,000 knee replacements are carried out in England and Wales each year and over 60,000 hip replacement procedures took place last year.
Mr Brian Banerjee, consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Good Hope Hospital, will highlight causes of hip and knee pain at the talk and how people can recover from hip and knee replacements.
Mr Banerjee said: “Anybody wishing to know more about common hip and knee problems should attend the health seminar. I’m looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts and opinions about this topic.”

The Trust – which covers Heartlands Hospital, Solihull Hospital and Good Hope Hospital as well as some community based services – runs monthly health seminars to help raise awareness of a range of health conditions, as well as providing information about the treatment and support that is available.
