Who we are

We work across three large hospital sites; Heartlands, Good Hope and Solihull as part of one of the biggest Trusts in the UK.

Across these three sites we have a workforce of more than 10,500 and we see and treat more than 1.2 million people every year.

And in our Emergency Departments we see more than 250,000 patients.

Birmingham Heartlands Hospital is based at the heart of a bustling, dynamic community. It is a large site consisting of modern, state-of-the-art buildings purpose built to provide the highest possible quality of patient care and support services.

We’re looking forward to a major new multi-million pound new building project – the Ambulatory Care and Diagnostics (ACAD) Centre at Heartlands – which has just been granted planning permission.

We have emergency departments at Heartlands and Good Hope and a Minor Injuries Unit at Solihull.
